Young Adults Friendsgiving - South Overland Park
There’s something sacred about the table. Throughout the Gospels, we see Jesus constantly sharing meals, breaking bread with people from every walk of life. The table becomes a place of belonging, where the lines of status and circumstance blur, and we all come as equals—hungry, human, and invited. It’s where grace shows up, where relationships deepen, and where the heart of God is revealed.
This Thanksgiving, we want to gather the Young Adults of Grace around that kind of table. A table where we reflect on what God has done for us, where we share not just food but our lives and stories. We’ll provide the turkeys, but we’re asking you to bring a dish—something that speaks of home, of celebration. Maybe it’s your family’s favorite mac and cheese or your grandma’s legendary cookies. Whatever it is, it’s part of the feast, part of the story we’re all writing together.
When we all bring something, we bring ourselves. It’s more than a meal—it’s a glimpse of the kingdom, where everyone has a place and everyone is needed. So, what will you bring to the table?
We can’t wait to gather with you, to give thanks, and to celebrate together.
