Junior Internships

Grace Kids Jr. is for ages three to kindergarten and this division consists of a large group worship and story time followed by a small group time with discussion, crafts and games. Our goal is for our kids to understand how bible stories fit together into one big epic story. By the end of the summer, they will be able to lead all aspects of Kids Worship Jr., help manage, train and schedule volunteers, have weekly one on one discipleship, and understand how Grace Kids Jr implements the weekend curriculum. They will also get behind the scenes experience of learning how to work at a large ministry event including SBO and SBO Jr.

We believe in the importance of raising up our next generation to be passionate and on fire for Jesus and that starts in Grace Kids. In this role you will be getting a well rounded view of all of Grace Kids from nursery, to Jr., to elementary. You will be writing curriculum, be hands-on during our services, and help with our SBO program. If you’re excited about seeing kids and families grow in their relationships with Christ and with each other, then this is the internship for you.

Grace FiftySix (G56) is designed for fifth and sixth graders and meets during at least one service at each campus. Our vision is to provide a safe and enjoyable community for fifth and sixth graders to build friendships with their peers as they get to know the Grace Students staff. While fifth graders tend to disconnect from Grace Kids programming as they look forward to middle school, sixth graders can have a difficult time transitioning to adult worship services and Grace Students programming. With this tension in mind, we've created an environment to bridge the gap from Grace Kids to Grace Students. This intern will be recruiting, training and leading volunteers and learn how to plan G56 events.

Our Grace Students ministry is devoted to investing in our 6th-12th grade students to become outward focused followers of Jesus. Through weekly teaching with small groups to fun events and serving opportunities, our goal is to equip our youth to love Jesus fully and be a light in their community. We are looking for hardworking, Jesus-loving individuals who are passionate about youth ministry and can provide insight and leadership to Grace Students. Not only would you mentor students weekly, you would also help with the execution of our fifth and sixth grace ministry on Sunday mornings, and help with curriculum and teaching.

Grace Special Needs Ministry exists to minister and provide support to individuals and families with special needs. Our desire is to let every individual know that they are welcomed, cared for, and loved. Throughout the summer, the intern will rotate weekends between campuses initially shadowing, but eventually directing service and leading adult classes. They would also help with the planning and execution of SOAR Special Needs camp. If you are currently in high school and have a heart and desire for those with special needs, then this is the junior internship for you.
